Same here. I have looking Kobes for a while now verse the XX8's. The soles on the XX8 have me worried so I am looking at getting the 9's for games also. BUT my playing style wont quite work with the 9's and that low carbon fibre piece in the back on the high tops. SO who knows, still undecided.

Agree there to. I prefer the dark colors. BUT there are some people who like to pop and shoot and can wear the all white shoes. Not me. I like to rough it up Randolph/Cousins style.

I will be trying them on before spending my very scarce amount of cash. I dont mind spending $90 on a whim but Kobe prices they better feel comfortable and be useable zipped up. So we will see. I dont think there is any store around me though that has them. SO it will still be a while.

Earl are those your shoes? Regardless of comments they looked good. I dont mind crazy colors and clown or not they look good. To the Doc posts earlier what is the ACFL? I know what the ACL, MCL, and  LCL are but not sure on the AFCL. Just curious is all.

The way I see it they shouldnt care who buys them anyways.

Someone said earlier that you can order from those places. Must be a few pages back by now.  I dont know if this is true but maybe. Other wise use the forwarding company.

Thanks for the help. They give you an address when you sign up I believe. I am always ordering stuff from both Euro and USA. Being an American living in OZ you became very resourceful. BUT as the above poster said you can buy from Euro now. So you dont have to worry about the forwarding company.

Shipitto.com There is a forwarding company that can ship Euro stuff to USA. I use it for USA to OZ. Where there is a will there is a way.

Huge Thanks again @FrankW I am still looking for some other colors. Like the Kobe color schemes a lot. I was curious about the leather upper on the XX8. I know the Kobe looks more like a sock so I was not worried about that one. But if the XX8 upper is like a sock then thats also good to hear...

I am looking at getting some XX8's in about a month. The Kobe 9's would be great but I dont think would fit my playing style. The low Carbon Fibre on the sides would end up putting me on my butt. How many times have the XX8's popped? Did they get a replacement?

Have any hardcore slashers worn these shoes? If so how did you go with them? I think they look amazing and really want a pair. BUT my foot is not one that  is always flat. I tend to slash to the hole and my foot is at all different angles. I am worried that the carbon fibre in the back is a bit...

@FrankW Thanks for that. The XX8's just look amazing. Not sure how I will like the tall upper on my foot but I definitely dont want to go back to lows. The Kobe 9's look awesome but they seem to have their followers and others just dog them. And the Kobe 8 seems hit or miss with fans of the Kobe...
