what are the benefits structuring it this way? can the lakers/AR have structured it to be descending instead? i'd think having a smaller cap hit in the future is more beneficial once the lakers are over the cap.
true, I'm probably overreacting to the high dollar amount and not factoring the years. 3+1 not the end of the world. i didn't mind AR staying and getting paid anyways. looking forward to how they fill out the rest of the roster.

cap space watch. not only for other AR suitors, but for other teams able to help denver offload other contracts. chicago, brooklyn, and now minnesota can do that, right?
for discussion's sake, if given the chance to have one, who would you guys prefer: watson or kessler? aka using the bulk of cap space on a wing or a center and then using other avenues to fill the remaining need.
