If you don't overuse him... Bednar as the closer.
Cruz as your 7th inning or need to get out of a jam guy. He seems to continuously come up big in runners on, no out situations.
Brent Headrick as your run of the mill bullpen guy. He's been really good.
Blackburn and Yarbrough as your need to...
Sure.
But I don’t think we’d add a SS or 3B this year, just doesn’t seem in the cards.
Honestly need a
-Catcher,
-a big time setup man to Bednar.
-An innings eater in the middle innings.
(Need just enough to get away from Doval and Bird)
I think you can have all that plus Skubal while not...
I'll give Volpe this.. Has had a really solid last week and a half from the plate.
Everything else has been ****. But if he hits above league average, I can live with it.
When you trade a player of Giannis caliber. You gotta bottom out. Trying to hold on causes a lot more struggle. Sure Jaylen is likely the best of any asset.
But struggling to make the playoffs for Jaylen’s prime and being in this position 3 years from now is a really bad outlook.
Send Herro out. Try to get some draft capital for him. And then it is what it is in terms of deals.
Bucks likely will be really bad for the rest of the decade.
That completed my stop trading Franchise Corner Stones for lesser guys with Randle on his way out.
Essentially wasted two years of Ant and now even with Ayo back. They’re no where close.
Love Naz. But outside of Ant and Naz as a complimentary starter. WOOF
One would hope.
There’s not a single basketball reason to say we’re trading Giannis (who I’m not totally convinced would ever walk away from Milwaukee even in FA). And now have a Jaylen Brown led team.
