So glad they didn’t add grey eyelets. Don’t mind the vintage look. Wasn’t a fan of the dull lava color on the 2014’s so these are a must.

Die cut marks were featured on the originals and 1999 retro. The tongue was also more padded on both versions. Not sure why some think the slim tongue on the 2019 retro is correct.

I’ll take leather over the dust magnet durabuck they used on the 2019’s.

I hate the toe box. Looks too narrow with an awkward V shape. What were they thinking.

Agreed. The colors were a little off as well. The citron should have been more vibrant. Citron used on the retros was a little too green.

Fit is clean. I am reminded over and over why the bred 4 is my favorite Jordan. Too damn clean!

Yep. I thought we were getting the lighter shade. Surprised me when it was the darker shade because I thought those were fakes lol. I like the darker shade more anyway because it’s truer to the originals. I don’t know. With Nikes bad QC, it doesn’t surprise me.

Seen these on eBay. Looks like a sample pair with Kermit green chlorophyll accents.

Reminds me that a proper Medicine Ball Trainer 3 retro is long overdue.

Not sure how I feel about this. Aged durabuck does have somewhat of a sheen to it. Hopefully that’s the look they are going for and not just straight tumbled leather.

Had to put them on right away.
