air force 1s dont last forever. 2006 may be in the clear still. but the older you go the air unit will dry out/explode.. and the midsole gets pliable.
they wont crumble like the midsole on a pair of Jordan 3s or 4s. but whatever is inside the midsole will dry out, and the support will be gone....
