I completely agree. It's really a different shoe altogether, and it has all the upgrades over the FR4 (better shape, comfort and quality). These clown FR4s imho.
All valid points there and yes, longevity is a huge plus with J1s. I agree too, J1s look good beat up and even though I'd never own an 85' OG, if I did, id want a pair that doesn't look pristine.

Yeah, I mean, I think these SHOULD be more premium than the SB 4s, given the price point and that they are a collab. Not sure on the tooling aspect, but from what I know I dont think they are, outside of the griptape on the BBB.
Interesting bc I think the PG SB 4s are pretty nice build. For the Bricks to blow em out of the water build wise is saying something. Can't wait to get my pair tomorrow.
I'd love to know too. I think he needs his own sig shoe tbh. Re styling J1s and J4s has been cool, but, that's gonna get old after a while. My guess is he's gonna do a J3 or J5 next, but I think JB needs to work on getting him his own sig shoe.
