Don't bring that man's name up. LOL I thought I was past Gentry and that era was gone. I've collected for so long and this new era has been pretty darn good compared to that '05-'10 crap that we got.

This is the stupidest take on an OG retro I've seen in awhile. I literally have zero idea why anyone would concoct this version. So dumb.

Clean '85 shadows man. Haven't seen a pair that nice for that color in awhile. Great pick up.

good thing you didn't sell them. I still have mine in my rotation. The quality is easily one of the best in my collection. They're probably top 10, up there with the banned 1's, SBBs, Unions, etc.

I'll be honest: I love both molds. Lots of the recent retros are shaped like the 94, but I still appreciate the 94 retros and what they represented. JB did a great job on the 94s. The '85 looks great as well.

They were amazing, along with a bunch of other retros at the time (black cements, '03 cements, '04 bred 12's, etc.). That was a golden era in my opinion, and I have both the '00...

Do you have the 85 or 94? You’re the first person ive ever heard say that they don’t like the ‘94 version. I have the Bred and Chicago and I absolutely love them. The shape is different than the 85 but they’re still classics. I respect the differences and they’re both clean in their own right...

I've always wondered why the royals didn't skyrocket in price. My only guess is the complete lack of consistency between pairs. The bred's that came out around the same time were fantastic. These were so inconsistent (leather panels, construction, etc.). That's my only guess.
