I have a question about sizing. I see many are stating that they fit similar to the Concords, but I was unable to get a pair.  How do these fit with respect to the last Cavs or the BC III's? 

I wonder what the resell value would be on these?

For sneaker shields, are they uncomfortable? If so, which is more uncomfortable, the universal or the protector? Secondly, I've never seen the protector actually on sale. Does the protector prevent/decrease creases more than the universal?

I ordered at 9:03 PM and just got my confirmation email at 9:30 PM for those that are freaking out about it.

Upgrading and adding servers are expensive. Did you really think that eastbay and/or finishline would crash because of the X's? I didn't and it appears that a good amount of people here didn't either. If the IV's crash websites, then they may start changing things up. Two aberrations do not call...

That's weird. I'm a true size 8.5 and my size 8.5 Steel X's (2005) are smaller than all my other size 8.5 shoes. The Steel X's fit more like the recent XI releases.

Lengthwise, are the 05 Steel X's as long as Chicago X's??

Alright. For those that do not have the Steel X's, wouldn't you say that they would fit similar to the TB/BC III's then?
