It's a rule that cleats in the MLB have to be 51% team color. So teams that wear black black cleats they have to be 51% black, same with blue, red, etc. I read an article earlier this year about David Price asking MLB to change the rule. He wore some cleats earlier in the year and got a warning...

It's because they have 3 national league stadiums hosting the all star game in a row. Cincinnati last year, San Diego, and Miami next year, so the league decided the AL to be the home team this year so that it could be fair and not have the NL being the home team for three straight all star...

On What Pros Wear there's pics of players testing what possibly is Bryce's first PE cleat. It has a strap across the laces and his signature and logo and stuff on it. Head over there and they have pics. It's still in the design stage I believe but may release late summer or next year who knows...
