I'm overseas right now, and I tried them on in a store. Some thoughts:
Cushion is great, zoom is as good and bouncy as it looks. You can feel it up to your toes. The heel is alright, the phylon has some compression.
The forefoot doesn't bend much at all. All I see is big men playing in them in...
I think it feels more like a classic Kobe shoe than any of the other ADs. Its low, minimal, and all business. I haven't seen many players rocking the 360s in the league, but a ton play in the Exodus. I think when dudes are that big and explosive they sink into the 360 cushion too much and some...
Im liking the new byw, it looks like a fyw shoe straight out of the 90s. I really want to see the outsole; it looks like it has a flex point in the forefoot, which is what I really liked about the feet you wear and puremotion concept: multiple flex grooves to give you maximum court feel...
I play younger guys all the time, if youve been keeping up your strength and cardio in a gym you can definitely go out there again. Also im stronger than the majority of them now and can outmuscle most of their skinny asses on drive contact to make up for the vertical discrepency. Even if you...
lunarlon usually lasts me, honestly, just 3 weeks, and thats of regularly play 3x a week. Im glad they phased it out for react, that stuff was not durable at all. When its dead, it felt like a stiff phylon. I wish I got a full length zoom midsole when they had em on nike id, then i couldve...
I think it depends on how much shoes they make for how much they get discounted and how frequently. I dont think they made a lot of 360s for some reason, although i got mine for cheap. The exodus and the mids they made a lot of so they could be gotten anywhere these days for around half off. My...
Amen. The last time I bought something brand new at retail price was 5 years ago and I still think that was stupid. Wait long enough and all shoes (that arent limited and/or hypebeast shoes) get killer discounts if youre paying attention to websites, outlets, and sales. Idgaf if its new or not...
I saw a women's pegasus at an outlet that was cheaper than the mens and in a cw I wanted. They say you size 1.5 up from from your normal size and it should fit. Has anyone here ever bought a shoe like that? Is the width and everything else the same? If so ill get it next time im there.
From the new shoes ive seen, all the ball shoes are gonna have that panel-heavy dad shoe design language this year. Not to say some cant look good, but id like some variety to their lineup. I dont see the point in making all the shoes look similiar. If there is a performance issue, like last...
I was just thinking about the Air Force 25. I wish nike would retro these. They felt like boots and sucked to play in, but I thought they looked great for casual wear and you can really feel the zoom, which was also double stacked in the heel with max air. The leather was really on point...
If the pattern holds up, that will be a basic phylon/heel zoom setup. Every other year will be the fancy react thing, then the basic thing. But who knows, maybe theyll do something else.
My knees get some pain after 2-3+ hours of fullcourt play in anything but boost and plush zoom setups like the lebron 16. Not all boost ball shoes have great impact protection, though. Harden 1s and crazylight boosts are more firm than other boost setups, so they dont absorb impact as well as...
Yeah i tried them on from a friend who got em, and they feel like that all the time to me. I think theyre alright, but Id take react, boost, zoom, hell even renew, cloudfoam, or cushlon over these any day. And they dont seem great for workouts either, just casual.
