Maaaan, I JUST got these Forces back. Sold em against my will in 2005 and have been looking for another pair for years. Was starting to get the Mandela Effect a little bit, because I couldn't find any trace of their existence. Stumbled on a listing on GOAT with no pics. Had to have them...

That's exactly what it was! I remember I never thought the True Blues would see the light of day again, and being fired up that we were getting a version of them. Took most of us a while to realize how much was off about them.

Was doing some digging iny closet the last couple of days and found my 01's. These have not been worn in probably 20 years. This is for the folks that acted like I was nuts for saying the paint chipped or telling me I had bootlegs and that's why it was happening. These have looked like that...

Made it back intact (knock on wood). Didn't see any peeling or separating, so I guess we'll see how it goes. I did wear them quite a bit back in 02-03, so they weren't DS which I'm sure helped. Guess I'll keep wearing them lightly and see what happens.

Taking my life into my own hands today. Have absolutely no idea the last time I wore these... :lol:
