New Tarts leather quality is not on par with last Lavas one. Wings are really blue :smh:!?, teal is more blue, tongue tag is way off, and orange brighter than 2014s but definitely darker than my resoled 2008s A bit disappointed on the pure retro treatment, but shape is good, aged sole...

Half size bigger, IMO, with a larger toebox. I'll add that though I chose 12 for IIs on previous releases and 11.5 for IIIs, I went for a perfect 11.5 on last Lavas release.

Comfort feeling does not come from the midsole shock absorption only. And in terms of flexibility, midsoles are equal. The whole uppers materials flexibility and breathability are important too and especially on this eyestay base with a strap, I feel the flexion of the SBs toe vamp part adding...

Last time they did them right was 2013, ogs... still have 2 of them so will probably pass or buy as a donor for a midsole soleswap...
