$280 is a but high cause they're very worn. you can tell if they are wearable by the firmness of the midsole. if the midsole is firm; they are wearable. that simple. foggy air bubbles usually don't predict or indicate how wearable they are.

yeah they look fake. the biggest give-away is "no heel bump."  post a symmetrical profile of these to see if there's a heel bump or not.

they are legit. the swap isn't bad at all. most swaps have some issues as it's hard to flawlessly swap. .$200-$300 is fair.

you're right, the lace holes don't pop out as much, but they also don't pop out on most of the jordan 3 white/cement 88 retos (see below). maybe that's just how NIke is making them now. there are a bunch of things that are off about these. as i said... they are produced by a licensed Nike...
