Wish I'd picked up another pair too. Over the past 2 years I've worn them more than any other pair of AM1s I own, and at this point they're starting to look pretty beat. I'm stalking ebay, and threw some bids up on stockx/goat.
2 or so years ago, I did really well at Marshall's with miUS/miUK stuff. Over a period of 6 months, I found the same pair of 574s (574BOX/blue ox), Norse Project 770s (brown/navy), 1300CAG (green/navy), 1300DTO (chambray blue/white), a random 996 (996CHG)...there were a few more but I'm blanking...
Agreed. I'd also highlight a simple fact: everyone's feet are different. Two people may measure exactly the same on a brannock, but one may have a slightly wider foot, higher arch or instep...even just differently shaped toes can make a difference. You throw personal preference on top of that...
Yeah, agreed, the term TTS is troublesome. Personally, after some trial and error, I now just purchase all NBs in the same size (US9). While I find there are certainly differences between models, I've been able to make them all work. I wear thinner socks with my 997s, and thicker with my...
In my experience, yes, typically that's true - but I can't say for sure about the 2002r because I don't own a pair. However I know a few NTers have them, like @syndicatepoogie and @flintgrey. Perhaps they can weigh in on sizing
EDIT: I missed it, poogie has already spoken
@TheRealAlleygator wow, that's a whole lotta heat in one post. My monitor is melting. Where did you pick up 670YOR? I have the 577, thinking about the 670 too
Those 1500s are both great.
I've browsed BB's site in the past, but haven't gotten around to placing an order. They certainly do carry a lot of interesting older stuff, and it makes me wonder how they acquire their inventory. An example I'm considering: the M670NVT Bluesman, of which they...
I'm unclear: are you asking if one AM1 Denham or one lemonade is a fair trade for two Anniversaries? If that's your question, then no, certainly not. If the question is one Denham and one lemonade for two anniversaries...that's a lot closer. But personally I'd still take the two anniversaries...
This is an understatement. That description is flat-out ridiculous, almost like something out of a J Peterman catalog. They should pour some sand in the shoes prior to packaging to really drive the story home.
imo this design is completely underwhelming. I'm quite certain a lot of NTers would...
You're not wrong, but this has nothing to do with the cracking phenomenon. Nobody's running in their limeades. A couple people reported cracks appearing within a few hours of wear. Others found them cracked right out of the box. Sounds like it might just be the nature of the material
