I totally agree with that perspective. I think people that got underwhelmed and upset after buying into the turbo hype played themselves. I say just judge a shoe by the shoe and don't let talk or emotions play a role in deciding to use a shoe for training.

Does anyone know the actual stack height for the turbo? I'm seeing everything from 10mm to 20mm for the forefoot- even RW says the forefoot height is 17mm when in pictures, it seems clear to me that the turbo has more stack height than the regular peg which is has 18mm in the forefoot.

How do the turbos feel in comparison to the Clifton 4? I'm especially interested in seeing how the forefoot cushioning is on the turbos, given Nike trainers seem to be having less and less forefoot cushioning recently.

I think the stripe takes the place of upper material where it is on the toebox to shave off weight. Or maybe Nike is doing runners a solid by trying to make it a little ugly so hypebeats don't make them sell out as fast, idk
