I take it everyday, sure it sometimes gets delayed. But that will happen when a large amount of people are commuting. Just sleep through it and chill out. THis is a real 1st-world problems thread.

The system might be corrupt, but that does not mean a degree is. The zombie reference? Less you plan on starting a business or doing a trade school you pretty much need a degree. yes, people make it without degrees. Name a top company where you don't need a BA/BS to get into?

When it comes down to it, for the majority of us, a degree is a foot in the door. It's the only way into most top corporations, like it or not.

A great thing to do would be to get good relationship's with professors, than try and do some independent studies. Not only does it look good for grad schools, you get a letter or recommendation and school credit for a project your passionate about. Do that, and KILL the GRE and you can do it...

I'm going to be real with you. I'm hoping your not planning on pursing a career in Psychology. For one, that would mean grad school. Since you don't go to a top college, a bad GPA is going to hurt you even worse then someone with a bad GPA from a school Fordham, St. Johns,etc. Either step it up...
