If you plan on doing a permanent single colour I would recommend using dye instead of paint. Dye doesn't rub off, and can take a lot of abuse till you see any scratches. I especially recommend FBCC's...

I recently picked up a pair of pink trainer 1s for $40, and I really want to add some more black to the shoe. Pretty dope, but I can't rock all that pink.
@WujekRada I knew that this would be a problem before I started the custom, so I bought a roshe run that originally had a black midsole. That way the midsole wouldn't chip and flake
