Although I remember the mid to late 90's well, from a pure performance aspect I prefer the 2000-20005 era. Even the design aesthetics were a bit simpler; the Pippen IV's, Jordan XVIII, & Max Elites were things of beauty. The morfs were amazingly comfy and the zoom/shox based kicks ala Shox...

I tried on the Clima 360 lows at Finishline and can't believe how low cut the shoe is. There's no way I could play in them, and the cushioning seemed a bit lacking as well. If I ever see anyone ball in those, I'll shake his hand.

I take my shoes off as soon as I'm done playing ball and wear slides out of the gym. Once I'm home, I put the shoes on the back patio to air out and dry naturally. I also make sure not to wear the same shoe the next day, if at all possible. Baby powder/baking soda (sprinkled sparingly) is good...

Lord, I love this shoe to death! 1998-2004 were a golden age for Nike basketball shoe, so much heat came out back then. If this comes out again (or anyone wants to sell a pair of 9.5's ANY color) I'll be a happy man.
Anyone remember the Ultraposite's? Straight heavy boot crap.
Gotta hand it to Adidas, they're putting out some intriguing things lately. I'd wear more Adidas stuff, but their shoes fit a bit weird on me. I really like the look of the AdiPure's a lot and wonder if anyone has a pair they've played in. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Although, I'm not that crazy about the Black Ice's, I do like the Micro G Fly & Micro Lite's. I'd like to know how they fit, the cushioning set up, traction, etc., from anyone who's played in them extensively. Thanks in advance!
