looking to pick up a pair of the new republic chelseas - browsed the thread but still not too sure about sizing. True to size meaning same size as sneakers? Or dress shoes? I'm not in the US and have to use a proxy service so returns aren't an option. Hope someone could help me out 

hand washed my b/w racers recently with just hot water (no soap) to try and get some dirt stains off and this happened - the black colouring can literally be rubbed off. I washed the other side in cold water and it was fine. Just a heads up, probably best not to use water that's too hot. ...
