I think it's just cause the other elements (aside from the knit upper) are so bright on mine it just makes the knit look darker.

What I ordered VS what I recieved... The renderings are way way wayyy off.

Bit the bullet and ordered a couple pairs similar to my Kobe IX IDs— My Kobe IX IDs: Here are the similarly colored Kobe XI IDs that I ordered on Saturday: Bright Crimson Volt

I had to try on before making a pair on ID. For kobes V-IX I was a size 11. The X I was a size 10, and for the XI I found a size 10 fit me. This model seems a little longer. My feet tend to be on the wide/flat side. The XI's felt extremely light after playing/training in the IX's for awhile now...

Looking like snakes, visually a much better job with the flyknit pattern this year. Will have to see how they feel.

Is this the yellow or volt upper?

Which upper did you use? Poison green or volt/black?

Good eye w/ the box. If these were some GRs that would be nice. They do have the graphic liner though. MIght be my favorite ID's of the X I've seen so far.

Agreed on this year's easter CW being lame. The color blocking with the teal pieces and that red upper are weird, no story behind the CW could make them look any better. I don't buy into that story ish anyway. I think they should have made the easter CW all teal/turquoise similar to the color...

I like a lot of the upper options for the AS versions especially the default crimson/punch color and the volt/white that Korver used in his AS ID's. Not a fan of the silver/metallic pieces. Especially how the side pieces remain sliver no matter what tongue you go with. Hopefully we get some more...

On the lookout for the All-Star options but I was messing around with these. Kinda based off the superhero kobe 8 elite.

I gotta get a better idea of how the mesh upper will look in certain colors before pulling the trigger. Pretty excited about this model, I copped the 5AMs and I think they look great.

Would cop multiple pairs (or *Rick Ross Voice* PEARS) if these were general release, exclusive or otherwise. 

Looking good on Kobe's feet. For some reason I dig the way the All-Star silhouette looks with the back tab so much more than without the tab on the other pairs we've seen so far.
