pre-Covid, the SC 3Zeros line had taken over my go-to-shoe for ballin. They had fantastic traction, just-enough cushioning (I like my rides fast and firm) and were easily available at a severe discount.
Those iv's look promising.
After a very trying 2 months, I ended up returning my White Noise. I loved the fit and comfort, but traction was subpar for me on most indoor surfaces. I was sliding all over the place and it started to get hazardous. Kind of sad though, because not many shoes can accommodate wide footers like me.
How's that translucent part on dusty courts? They seem like a great performance bargain, but I don't want to be sliding around during my local pickup games.
Those using these for ball indoors - how does traction stack up compared to the modern shoes? I'm considering switching to these for my pickup games. The lack of heel cushioning is well documented, but I want to make sure I won't be constantly sliding out since dust is my number 1 enemy.
NTers, do you know if the different colors equate to different traction performance? The White Noise traction has felt pretty underwhelming so far, and I wanted to know if changing to a solid color would fix my sliding-around issues.
I got the White Noise colorway at release and have been able to clock about 10 hours of gametime so far. Here's my thoughts performance-wise:
Fit - These run wider than your standard Nike shoe. To me, this is a great thing. As a wide footer who wears ankle braces when playing, I'm pretty...
I finally got a chance to check these out in person. I know it’s been mentioned before, but I’m going to repeat it for emphasis: These run narrower than pretty much all the previous Currys. With all previous iterations, I was fine with a size 8. With these, I couldn’t even get my foot in the...
After hearing so many reports of the quality of the retros being a significant drop-off from the OG's, I had to see them in person. Tried them on at a HoH this past week, and now I understand why. The upper materials are a lot thinner and cheaper and the seams feel like they're falling apart...
