Also  "geomsa"  (slightly different) means "inspection" in Korean. Although it is written.... 검사검사검사   I wonder if this was an abbreviation used to mean "inspection"...??. It would certainly make more sense.

Thank you for sharing the factory name with us. I wonder if they stayed in business after Nike went elsewhere..??. Maybe they started to make knock offs after that......just kidding.   I guess the smell could be described as that "new" smell. God only knows what type of glues, etc.... were used...

Please, not at all. You have been most helpful confirming their originality. Based on some posts, it seems that Nike has altered their original Air Jordan design for the worst. Sometimes it's not the best decision to change a good thing. Look what happened with Coca Cola.......they should have...

I guess not. However, I find the history of the shoe interesting. I was just curious to see if the QC label was normal or an error by the factory. We may never know. Thank you for confirming they are original 1985 issues.

Offers have been all over. From $1000 to $2300....although, that high offer may have been just a joke as they disappeared. We are not in any hurry to disppse of them. However, as part of the estate, they will be sold......since none of us want to keep them. I was hoping another member could tell...

Contacting Nike is a great idea. My Sister tried to do so and there was no reply back. I think they are more concerned with selling shoes.  Just to clarify.....the shoes are not sold. The individual that expressed interest, just disappeared. So, we are going to look at some of the avenues...

We are so grateful for all the comments, information and condolences we have received  from forum members regarding these.  On the advice of many, we are going to look at all the various avenues mentioned to us on this forum.  Our Uncle would have been happy to know that many enjoyed seeing...
