I've been wanting to make an eminem 4 custom or a undftd 4 custom out of a bred 4. Is there any way to change the black suede to a lighter color, that i can dye with angelus suede dye either olive green, or blue?

I've been wanting to make an eminem 4 custom or a undftd 4 custom out of a bred 4. Is there any way to change the black suede to a lighter color, that i can dye with angelus suede dye either olive green, or blue?

I used a fabric pen one time, and it didn't do a great job. It faded, and the pen ran out of ink quickly.
