Only shoes I’ve ever left a tag on is the little suede “tags” that come on Wallabees. It works on those since the tag is the same material as the shoe. I definitely remember seeing a lot of hangtags left on shoes in nyc in the 90s and early 2000s, but the worst was when people would leave those...

Thanks, I usually get unlucky, guess I was due for a good one. My first pair of Silver Bullets last year had a big ol dent at the tip of the shoe like it got punched in the nose…at least those sat and I was able to exchange them.
