Another horribly dry affair. Waste of time for all involved.
Just shows you how small a margin these games can turn on. Alves hits the bar and bounces out, Cesc hits the post and bounces in. We're talking centimeters here.
Not sure if this tournament can be salvaged at this point.
I'm so confused about this game.
I watched it and thought it was a terrible game of soccer filled with missed chances and premature long-range pot shots. Other than Pirlo's passing and a few touches from Montolivo and Rooney, the game was played at an incredibly low level. I kept thinking over...
Depends what you mean by "working out". Most of the dudes I see wearing these in the gym are the ones who walk in, do 5 sets on the flat bench, some arm exercises, then walk out without ever breaking a sweat. Basically just at the gym to be seen.
I don't think anyone's saying he was at fault in the accident, but that he shouldn't have been riding the bike to begin with, partly for the reason that you alluded to (people don't see you on the road). You can get in a crash in any vehicle, but bike crashes are more often catastrophic.
I didn't mean that as a diss at all, I really meant it's very interesting to me, i.e. that norms can be so different in certain areas among people that have so much in common like NTers.
Not coming at you knife carrying bros at all.
I also find it hilarious that dudes walk around with knives in their pockets.
I don't think anyone I have ever known has been a knife carrier. Interdesting.
I carry iPhone + Rugby card case (slim, holds 2 cards + ID) and keys. It is my life mission to have as little on me as possible at all...
I don't find what he said to be absurd.
Maybe not Barca, but City and Real are somewhat similar in levels of talent and recent accomplishment. Maybe Real is ahead, but I don't think they're laughably ahead. Silva, Yaya, Tevez, Kun, Kompany, Hart, Balotelli are all match-winners on their day.
at dudes co-signing hot pink pants. I don't care if it's Miami or Mecca, that +!%+ is not hot. And is he wearing a wonder-woman style cuff on his wrist? Great.
And Iverson and Tim Duncan are in the same category: they wear what they like and not a single damn/effort is given. Just a revolving...
Meeting a bro at the gym and he doesn't have shorts so you bring him a pair of yours. You can either take them back sweaty after the game () or acquiesce to the bro taking them home for laundering. But you know it's basically a wrap for those shorts.
It's nominally about this sect but I think it applies just as well to religion as a whole. All the stuff about convincing yourself that something utterly absurd is true.
That might have been true at first, but I bump this and Reasonable Doubt more than any other album. And I've had it for 10 years. I feel like the sentimental stuff would wear off.
All of these are classics to me:
-Ten Crack Commandments
It's crazy that this happened. They dug themselves out of a deep grave several times. Napoli looked to have wrapped it up after the first leg and Chelsea comes back. That almost never happens in these 2-leggers. Against Benfica they slid through but looked absolutely terrible. Against Barca they...
This will be remembered as a "good final" but I don't think it was. Bayern flubbed a dozen chances, Chelsesa's counter-attacking was terrible, and it ended in a penalty shootout. Other than Drogba's header there really wasn't much in the way of excitement.
Props to Didier though. What a way to...
