Gotta Say thanks to all the members in this thread. Ended up wearing my Vomero + in Boston after getting blisters with my AF3's prior to race day. They held up well and provided some comfort on those downhills.
Im a 235lbs runner and these things were great. I saw a few premiums too. A bit too...
In the same age group - was a non-starter for me. It’s really the only way to get in. And they know it. So the commitment is a bit inflated.
It’s my final star so I figured why not. And supporting a good cause.
I suggest everyone do this for Tokyo. The numbers are good and the exchange is...
Yeah - Running for the Ed Walsh Foundation.
Only way to get in unless you qualify. Which i would never.
Charities now are like a college application, so start writing those application speeches now and be ready to copy and paste.
Hey Team,
Wanted to thank everyone for the opinions on the V+. I was looking for something (thinking Vomero) but got these on sale.
put these through 50 miles immediately as i was in peak long run mode for Boston (6-star) and these were awesome.
I'm not fast (10-11 min miles) but the comfort on...
Hey Team,
Been awhile but noticing the shift to the Vomero plus here. Any reason why not Regular Vomeros? They are constantly on discount so im wondering are they that bad to ignore?
Thinking the vomeros have replaced the pegasus as the true daily here? Should i skip them and just get the plus?
Is the “electric” the real Olympic pack? Or are the “blueprint” versions? Either way Take my Money!!! The whole pack looks amazing. Weirdly they’re not selling out here. Sizes still available.
So tracksmith finally created the peg turbo we’ve been asking for years with a plate. Safe to say a $300 shoe
Supposed to debut tomorrow at the trials. Anyone have any specs?
I started with the 29 and never looked back. Tried with the 35, left. Jumped back in for 39 (decent) and now 40 (meh). Maybe the new turbo will redeem the peg.
Just Picked up a pair of Peg 40 (brazil on sale) and they just don't feel the same anymore. The Peg decline is great. Sad to see them as the Budget runner.
Ugh, if they retro-ed the 34 i might buy it as a daily. Just too many choices nowadays. I am strictly AF and VF now.
