Thanks for the advice, although I'm not sure that would help and I dont want to make matters worse. If NB would address this issue and have better QC standards this would be my all time favorite shoe.

Whats acceptable when it comes to quality control in NB's, specifically the NB1 shoes? All of my custom NB1 998's have bubble/ wrinkles in the toe area. They drive me nuts! I see others with 998's that dont have this issue. This particular pair is the least wrinkled pair I have.

Just got these NB1 998's in.  Main color is Powder, with hints of white 3M and castle rock gray;) was expecting more of a darker tan color. Will probably let these go if anyone is interested. Size 11

Are those bubble defects only seen on the NB1's?

Man that is terrible! I had a pair of NB1 574's that arrived with really bad bubbles in the toe area.  Called NB customer service and they tried to make me feel like I was being too picky. 

Anyone had issue with bubbles in the toe areas? If so anyway to fix it? These are brand new NB1 998's. Love them but the toe area looking like that is killing my ocd lol

New 998NB1's Deep Grove suede with touches of black 3M.

Getting my first pair of 997's this week. Curious, for those who one them, does the taller height on the back of the sole make you feel like you're leaning forward?
