Any interest in these NikeID LunarEpics? Size 11, pretty much new with "NIKE" engraved/pressed in the sole and American flag tongues. Obviously never wore them and cleaning out my closet
Didn't get any kind of notification and just missed them since I had some work stuff come up, but I'm not even surprised.
Haven't won a SNKRS raffle since December 2015 (on a pair of MC Flyknit Racers), so that app and the regular Nike one are permanently gone from my phone.
Not paying some...
I don't train future method (assisted from what I hear you saying) since I don't have access to a power rack most of the time.
All my banded lifts (bench, DL, and squat) are done with the bands being held down by DBs/specific part of the rack/platform to put tension on the top of the rep...
They're definitely fun and one of my favorite exercises. I normally use 2 of these for squats/DL/bench/warming up/stretching.
I used a digital scale with a hook (like at a produce section in a grocery store) when they were new and, for my squat ROM, they were about 65-70 lbs at the top and...
Bands and chains essentially do the same thing; weight gets lower as your rep does and gets heavier as you complete the rep. Great for getting through sticking points on the way up/overloading at the top of the rep.
If you have access to a power rack, you can get the same effect by using the...
Hit a SBD variation day with my buddy on Sunday. We went to a local PL gym and ended up getting memberships so we can go on the weekends (it's too much of a drive during the week).
First time using calibrated KG plates and a mono lift in a minute, but I loved it.
Started with SSB banded/chain...
Nice man, I've seen you move some weight in the past on this thread.
I agree on your analysis of gym goers and I have yet to find a solution, short of building a home gym (not really an option where I'm at currently).
I prefer strength-based gyms (powerlifting, strongman, old-school...
Thank God, I've been lifting at corporate gyms the past few years and finding actual arch nemeses has been difficult.
Most people are ego lifters and I inadvertently befriend all the strong people. Need some fuel for the fire from time to time to keep things in perspective.
I've been lifting...
Thanks man, that's always been the goal; no questions.
Mobility is honestly a bigger goal as I get older. Heavy weights don't mean anything if you can't bend over without pain.
Shooting for 405 squat/455 DL/275 bench come March.
Still prepping for my first meet in March.
Was supposed to hit a double @385 (my all time PR for a single, albeit ~10-15 lbs lighter body weight), but I'm traveling and the Y's rack/bar were kinda sketchy so I racked after a single. Think the double is there, though.
Happy New Year fam and...
Guess I'm entering my first PL meet in March.
Definitely not as strong as I used to be and getting close to the end of my 20s, but a buddy talked me into doing it with him.
I'm interested to see how I feel about a adhering strictly to a program after years of doing my own thing (albeit...
Why the **** couldn't Nike make/sell these?
Wore these all day Saturday and ended up running 3 blocks in a literal downpour (streets were flooding) to get the car after dinner.
They still feel great after drying them out and the sole feels solid. Only time will tell.
Is there general consensus 1/2 size down or TTS?
I'm 11 in everything Nike, but have heard some people size down and prices for 10.5 seem to be slightly lower...
What're my options for getting either pair of Foam Runners for retail (size 11) at this point?
I haven't hit on any raffles in years, but still tried Bodega and Likelihood. Anywhere else I should try?
