My issue with this pair is that Adidas in fact released a made in Italy Samba like 2 or 3 weeks ago, with likely better materials and construction. So this isn't neither something crazy creative, which is ok, nor (likely) the best version of the shoe. It's just there.
But it will sell out...
Bought a pair to use on rainy days and found them slippery as hell, especially in portuguese cobblestone which is already slippery by default. Hopefully they improve with usage.
The colors seem much darker here than in the v4s posted earlier with the same style code. Did the kith filter became sentient and auto applies to any photo taken in store as well? Edit: cool pair in any case
The mismatch on the 1500s is really well done imo, not too obvious but still enough to make the pair interesting. Not just your tipical gray pair.
If the June 21st release date is correct though, the pace of releases for this month is absurd.
Some good looking pairs, the 1500s especially seem to have great shape despite the leather toebox. But it seems like this confirms that the 577s will be put on pause for a while, and I don't think the 730s will have enough pull to replace them.
Clearly most people went for the STs. Most of those are gone by now, still fsr on LB, at least here in Europe. Also went for leatherbacks, hopefully they don't disappoint in hand.
Both the trouts and the VICs (that cw makes me forget the silo they chose) are on my list, but it's getting too much too fast for me now. And the next ones are just around the corner...
Latest pickup: Morprime x Tommy Triggah x Kangaroos Racer Hybrid
The Desert Oak-like cw is a classic, but the picture cannot show just how great the execution and material mix is.
I don't think I've ever needed anything more than this in my life: https://www.highsnobiety.com/p/new-balance-shoezie/
US only, so will probably have to put my principles aside and go the resale route.
