Leather is awful in most cases for actual basketball, it's heavier, it's hotter, it's far less flexible, it takes a long time of break it for it to form to your foot, it creases easy as ****. You're ment to ball in these shoes, sure have a few ext models with it , but a performance model made...

The shoes don't go for the best player that isn't how it works, although Nike should of made a harden model , Kyrie got his first, a Davis shoe won't sell as well and this model will . It's just about how well Nike can market you

The price point isn't relevant at all, Nike have been overcharging for years they can make a good model with good materials and sell it as a budget model and still make plenty of profit. plenty of other brands also manage just fine too.
