I am not personally a fan of the 9060s but I also think we gotta remember that there was a time when dudes were clowning on the few cats in here who were rocking 990v3/v4s and 993s back when it was all about the 997 & 998. I never imagined a world in which MFers would be scooping up v4s and 993s...
I only bought one pair of shoes as well during BF sales and I think that's a success considering the barrage of sales. Brings my total to 4 pairs purchased this whole year. Proud of myself for showing restraint overall. Not gonna lie - this thread helped me tremendously. Every time I had FOMO...
I want to echo what's already been said in recent posts: realizing that all of our shoes have an expiration date definitely helps curb the collection and keep it to a more reasonable amount. Shoes actually last much longer and are less likely to crumble if they are actually worn!
Another thing...
Maxey is just about the only thing Philly's got going for it now. I hate Fatsuit Harden and I'm getting sick of Embiid choking in the playoffs every year. Can't wait for Maxey to get his own NB one day.
Waited in line at NB Flagship this morning in Boston. Felt very old, washed and out of place. Very sad to see lots of Crocs, Dunks, Js and very few NBs on feet.
But, extremely thankful to have gotten both of these for retail. Back to “retirement” I go.
Glad to have found this thread. I decided to downsize a few years ago (pre-pandemic) and the lowest my collection ever went down to was 4 pairs and it was honestly the most freeing thing to not have to stress about what I was going wear on my feet everyday.
Similar story to you all here but...
Nordstrom just restocked Pink COTM for $135. Not 45% off but better than nothing if anyone doesn't wanna wait:

Just came back on after a long hiatus to confess that I got bamboozled into spending $25 on Ronnie's vanity project in hopes of securing an early pair of NBs only to realize that I was duped.
I have no idea what you're talking about. I just know that Joe Grondin ruined NB for me which is why stopped buying NBs (for now) and am waiting until everyone moves onto the next thing. Grondin, I know you're reading this and I hope you enjoy your StockX money and "whatnot."
