I want to echo what's already been said in recent posts: realizing that all of our shoes have an expiration date definitely helps curb the collection and keep it to a more reasonable amount. Shoes actually last much longer and are less likely to crumble if they are actually worn! Another thing...

Waited in line at NB Flagship this morning in Boston. Felt very old, washed and out of place. Very sad to see lots of Crocs, Dunks, Js and very few NBs on feet. But, extremely thankful to have gotten both of these for retail. Back to “retirement” I go.

Glad to have found this thread. I decided to downsize a few years ago (pre-pandemic) and the lowest my collection ever went down to was 4 pairs and it was honestly the most freeing thing to not have to stress about what I was going wear on my feet everyday. Similar story to you all here but...
