Man. I will stop in every Burlington I see from now on. I would probably scream out loud if I saw those 1300s at mine.

Unfortunately, I had to send back my North Seas. They were really nice in hand, but the v4 silhouette in a standard D width just doesn’t work for my feet. So if I want a v4, it’s core colorways for me. Bummer.

I misread that as FEB and was searching like crazy!

I like them a lot. Not quite as comfy as the v4, but a slightly less chunky silhouette IMO. I have a borderline narrow foot, so being able to grab them in a B width is also nice. And you can grab them on a pretty good discount.

Maybe it's just me, but next to the v4, the v5 looks MORE geriatric.

I'm coming around on the upper of the v5, but I think the part that is putting me off is the midsole. It looks too basic, like they were working towards something like the v4 and just stopped. I'm all for simplicity, but it just needs "something."

I’m starting to come around on these. They look good. Wonder if they will give this same treatment to other models like the 998 or 1500, create a whole “budget” line?

Really not feeling that NB on the toe. Otherwise nice.

These are made in Asia versions of the 997 made with cheaper materials. The Made in USA versions are much nicer, hence the higher price tag.

FYI, Eastbay has numerous v4s between $99 and $129. Someone posted a code a few pages back in the Codes thread on the main forum that takes an additional 20% off that. I was able to get North Seas for $79.99 + tax with free shipping.

Smallest size they stock is a 9 ... ugh.

Sorry for all of the sizing ?'s recently, trying to figure this NB thing out. What is 576 sizing like? .5 size down or regular MiUSA size?

Thanks for the recommendation. I think I will go with my 993 size. That was what I was leaning towards, and your experience makes me think that will be the right call.

Thinking about scooping up a pair of FEG4s. I'm an 8 in 993 and 7.5 in 998. How is v4 sizing?

Looking to pickup either some 997s or 1500s soon. I am assuming 997 sizing is similar to 998 sizing? How does 1500 sizing compare? Thanks.
