Tiny Furniture put me to sleep and was pretentious mumblecore garbage from a spoiled chick who, for whatever reason, thinks the world wants to see her naked. Can't believe dudes feel comfortable watching this show.
Pretty much. I hate gimmicks and stuff but this dude really seems this off, almost in a good way. His flow is good enough I can forgive horrible lyrics, and that Rider line was just funny. He comes up with enough of those to keep it entertaining. He comes up with a collab album and I'd buy it.
I am less inclined to go to restaurants where I know the head chef or owner is trying to "fancify" (or just plain make "white") another peoples food. Think Rick Bayless in Chicago.
But if the food is true to the spirit of the source then I don't see anything wrong with it. I am a white dude and...
Rodman
Manu
Ellis
In that order.
Also, it'll be interesting to see how Isaiah Thomas develops with the Kings. That dude had a great rookie year, and I bet there are plenty of teams wishing they hadn't passed him up.
You can't suddenly change the look of long-established comic book characters. Marvel and DC are both making strides to diversify their rosters but you can't expect these companies to make such drastic changes to already established characters knowing how much it would turn off fans of those...
If you ain't listing this you ain't into rap, period:
Killer Mike - R.A.P. Music.
With all the garbage that gets released these days, especially rap music, this one stands out. Killer Mike is one of only a handful of rappers that shows real passion anymore. With no political b.s. to get in...
The Spurs make all the little moves that seem so obvious in hindsight but were pretty genius in the moment; picking up Diaw after the Bobcats released him, getting Stephen Jackson, developing Splitter, drafting Leonard. As much as they're perceived as an old team, the Spurs and their management...
PG - Ty Lawson
SG - Kobe Bryant
SF - Danny Granger
PF - Kevin Love
C - Dwight Howard
A little unorthodox at PG but I think this would be a good combo of explosive (Lawson, Granger) and methodical (Bryant, Howard). Not sure how great the team would be defensively on the perimeter but Howard...
McMillan would be a great fit for the Clips because he stresses the PG position so much, and their D would get infinitely better. Clips should add a serious defender at the guard position and get a low post guy to compliment Griffin. If they do that, they could take a team like the Spurs to a...
The documentary to end all documentaries... and you'll have a hard time believing some of these people are real:
American Movie.
If you see just one movie posted in this thread, make it this one. You won't regret it.
It'll be interesting to see how well the G.I. Joe Retaliation line sells with the movie delayed until March 2013. Some of those figures look really good, especially Cobra Commander.
Lately I've really been getting into some of the Masters of the Universe Classics figures. If they weren't so...
41 minutes with 0 assists. That's hard to defend when you're a guard. Kobe wasn't the reason they lost, but he wasn't any answer, either. If it weren't for the no-trade clause I am not sure why most Lakers fans aren't asking themselves what they could get for Kobe on the market.
Duncan
Scola
Jefferson
Aldridge
Millsap
And Brand definitely had the best post moves in that cushy period with the Clippers. Right around '05 to '06.
If Randolph went 100 every play he'd be between Duncan and Scola but dude takes plays off, even on the offensive end. Effort's got to account...
