I'm just not a huge Penny fan, I'd like to keep him around, just not in an everyday role. Just wish Weeks would dominate so he could slide in at 2b, Drew at SS, Sizemore at 3rd, and Donaldson behind the plate.
Kottaras and Norris couldn't block balls for **** during the entire series and...
Would love to see Parker, Milone, Griffin and Straily takes steps forward. Even if only 2 of those 4 did we still would be in great shape. That being said, I would still try and lock up McCarthy and maybe even Braden depending on his arb deal. I would like to be 7 starting pitchers deep to...
Awesome season guys. I held off posting In here Cuz I thought I would jinx us. :lol
But now that it's over, it was a hell of a fun time. Detroit was the worst possible matchup for us and we still took them to 5 and we only barely didn't overcome a Coco error and 2 Verlander starts. Pretty sure...
Raiders
I ****** HATE Greg Knapp and the ZBS.
2 years with Greg Knapp or ZBS = McFadden is Terrible
3 Years without Greg Knapp or ZBS = McFadden is a top 5-7 back in the League
This doesn't take a scientist.
Apperantly, no pass rush, no good cornerbacks, a crappy FS, a bad MLB, only...
Word. No corner is walking through that door any time soon, and the Huff experiment has looked bad so far. (Wonder if that CB from GB is gonna get some PT this week tho.)
Might as well give the pass rush a shot in the arm. It's the only thing that may help our secondary manage. A broke man's NY...
Damn, can't believe Riverside is in the Worst of the Rest. Feels like there should be nothing else to do there. Also, surprised UCSD didn't show up on one of those 'worst' lists. Maybe things have changed there.
I think all the LBs played well. For a rookie, Burris looked great and made some nice plays in the run game. The defense in general played pretty well.
The only thing we were gettin carved up on was passes out into the flats and long plays where the WR had time to escape coverage. After that...
The Chargers average starting position in the second half was the Raiders 47 yard line, they received 3 muffed/blocked punts, they had their only TD drive extended by 2 offsides penalties on 3rd downs. They only managed 22 points.
On D they held down a toothless offense and a horrible display...
Say what you will about Hue Jackson, but the dude knew how to maximize the potential of the offense. It's the reason why D-Mac looked like the best back in the league last year before being hurt, D-Moe was one of the best lookin rookies out there, Marcel Reece was the most versatile FB in the...
Terrible play calling and special teams, no backup long-snapper, over-use of D-Mac, and no real vertical threat killed this game. We need Condo to be okay and D-Moe and Ford to come back pronto.
^ I'd go with Demaryius given the way he completely tooled Ike Taylor in the playoffs. I've never been a fan of the "garbage minute" catches strategy for WR's. I always feel like the guy usually gettin those catches is the RB with dumpoffs right past the line of scrimmage or in the flats.
Ford brings the explosiveness on KR when he plays and has had some great games on the field as a WR as well. 2 different, Denver games, a Dolphins game, and a Chiefs game all come to mind. He can make the nice hand catches on the tough throws when he plays. The dude is one of the few people in...
