One of my favorite looking Nikes. I love the hologram ones that are similar to the Flightposite 3's.

$345 is probably too high. I haven't done much research, but they are limited to 1,000 pairs so maybe it's really hard to find a pair in your size in DS condition.

No offense, but if you've never heard of the shoe, then you're not helping to answer my question. It says in my post that I've already looked online (Google) for references, but couldn't find much. I'm looking for a knowledgable collector to help me out.

I've always liked the shoe, and am expecting my first pair to arrive in the mail any day now. I tried looking up the history and design inspiration of the shoe online, but haven't found much luck. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I've got both pairs that I still wear every now and then. I've had the black/orange since middle school (now 25 years old) and I got the silver/green ones from pickyourshoes.com about 5 years back. Great features in a shoe, zoom air, zipper, monkey paw. One of my personal favorites.
