Kelela Mizanekristos, Nigerian-American born in D.C., raised in Maryland and currently based in LA. Another Alternative R&B genius with electronic music influences, definitely worth a listen. Dope production and a great voice to match it.

What did it take for you to reach that point where you really started to flourish as a person? New job? Weight loss? Just an overall increase in confidence? I know we all have a different story that got us to that point and some of us are still working towards it. What put you over the top?
I don't think I could. At best I could do a few months before I probably just pack up and go back to the states. I would do it for the experience but it couldn't be a long term move.
