I guess I'm the only one who thinks that helmet looks like a large turd. Horrible IMO.

Personally I think the flywire collars look great and the thickness does not bother me at all.   I much prefer this than something with a lower cut.  

They are awful clown shoes ... so they are perfect for Spike.

Here is the best I can do today to give you guys some sz 40 pics on body.  I'm about 5'9 and about 175.  I love the way the 40 fits me. For those that don't know by now .. use the NFL shop size chart for pretty good measurements.

According to the size chart on nfl shop the size 40 elite is 31 inches long.

Bowdown27 .... I think the 40 is gonna be a bit small for you considering your height but I'm not sure exactly how you wear yours. I'm 5'9 and the length on the 40 is cool with me .. not long or short but you may find it short for you.

Got my Chargers elite yesterday.  Size 40.  Love the fit.  Not garbage bag baggy like the Reebok's.  Definitely a slimmer fit.  I'm about 5'9 170 and it is great for me.
