Yep. There is actually another distressed pair in a lighter wash too. All the pairs of denim I felt, including the 2 distressed pairs, were soft like my chick's leggings :x :{

Regarding the rag and bone denim the other day....very disappointed. Just held them in my hand and they feel like wet paper mâché. Way too soft to even be considered denim. I have slacks that are more sturdy

I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but the spring varsity isn't made of the same fabric as the fw piece. It's more of a suit fabric on the new version.
