It seems strange to me that after having a virtual sell through of the coppers and eggplants which were a widely available release, Nike would decide to have a limited HOH release for these red posites. That would be leaving alot of money on the table.
I picked up the yellow ones this weekend and while "the protective diamond pattern that holds its shape and won't crease at stress points like traditional materials" they take the shape of your foot when you have them on to an extreme degree and look somewhat funny shaped when you have them on...
In addition to Osneaker, some folks had these at Dunkxchange last month and now Flight club has a few pairs but they're missing the box and listed a b grades.
I wouldn't be shocked if these start turning up in stores earlier than expected.
I already did a pair regular trainer 1 and I'd really like to do a pair with a 360 sole but am concerned about sizing. I had to go to a size 10 for the trainer 1 just to get in the shoe. For my airmax 2009's a 9.5 feels super roomy.
Nike says that you can return ID shoes now if you don't...
I'm sure when we see the exact color we'll all have different takes on it. I'm sure I'll like it however it turns out and will be in regardless. I know Rbk has a shoe called the alien stomper but if I was going to stomp an alien, I'd be wearing foams for sure.
I went past the 34th street FL yesterday afternoon adn they had the Coppers on the center display along with the eggplants. That must be their 3rd or 4th re-stock. Re-sellers are going to have to let the coppers go for retail or less just to move them. Anybody else notice there aren't that...
BTW - Lebron will wear a new shoe in the playoff's, like he's done with the soldier series in the past, and it's going to have zoom air. I think the thinking was 360 air would help him with the long grind of the season but he'd want the fast response that zoom provides during the playoffs. I...
I did the same thing with my eggplants, gave them a coating of seaglow after cleaning and wearing them yesterday. I've never done this before and I've never heard of seaglow being used as a conditioner but it won't hurt anything if it doesn't work.
Does anyone else have experience using...
Yes, these are not everyday running shoes but special training shoes and comfortable walking shoes. The new lunar glide and lunar elite are very popular with very serious runners as well as the Bowerman series. Those might be better choices for a good all purpose shoe.
If they don't do tickets, I would call the 28th pct myself and tell them what's going down that night / day. They always have a couple of rollers cruising 125th street. Wouldn't be a problem at all for them to keep an eye out for what's going on at HOH.
I heard some folks that camped out for...
I think Nike is heading in this direction. You can now ID the Trainer 1 with a different sole and upper components. I can totally see a "Create your Own" basketball shoe available through ID in a few years.
It would seem strange to me that after releasing the Coppers and the Eggplants all over the place and selling well, that they would make this Metallic red release a HOH exclusive.
