Angelus Duller will be your best friend

use a high grit sand paper scuff them lightly, paint will adhere better

Angelus sole dye, but Im not sure if it works on all rubber soles or just clear/gum ones. Will need sunlight or UV light though

Use Angelus duller to tone down the white, and Angelus is leather paint, so how well will it actually hold up on the rubber soles compared to another type of paint? On leather its Angelus hands down tho.

Did you use a sealer??? A clear coat sealer will help with the cracking...but hey man nice job as we all know even JB cant figure out how to stop the cracking...
