You definitely will unfortunately. I mean it's controlled in one area but still. It bleeds onto the laces during wear too. But cheers on securing a pair!
Yes I've already done that. The crazy super strength thin layer of protection. The corners of the tongue constantly leave marks with every wear. It's so weird.
Note that they did the heel tab right with the separate pieces, even though it was Jumpman AIR. I'm crossing my fingers this retro has that since they're paying attention to original pair detail.
I wonder if it's gonna be the two piece backtab like it's supposed to be (like the 4s). If not, I don't know how I feel since it's supposed to be 'remastered'.
Right! There's a lot of pairs with minor differences from them being made at different factories. The infrared VI is a big example, there's a lot of discussion about the differences in quality.

After some detective work, I believe this remastered pair is based off of the Korean made 1992 Bordeauxs. The Korea made pair has the darker olive on the backtab, and the Taiwan made pair has the neon green. JB wasn't trolling on that one.
I don't think a lot of people know what they're talking about when it comes to original Jordans. The original 4s were all synthetic leather (durabuck) except the Militarys. If JB remastering means using the original materials - it's synthetic. There's different levels of quality to synthetic...
They still couldn't use the proper material for netting huh. Remastered line my ***. It's great they got the angle right but come on with that price point. Extra speckles and Nike Air is a major plus, even the quality leather but damn $220. I'm on the fence but we'll see.
Has this happened to anyone else? I don't know what it is about this specific pair but the midsole on the right shoe did this weird thing where it creased inward right about the sole. It arches the entire shoe I can't wear it now. I don't get it though I wasn't harder on them than other pairs...
It seems like JB figured out how to narrow the toebox with the wider base of the neoprene sock - but couldn't figure out how to make it flush without the bump. Very odd, but that's one of the good things about this 'remastered' 7.
Thank you, I honestly couldn't tell they were worn at all he told me he wore them. He originally wanted $100 but I got him down to $85 for traveling. It was worth it for sure. I'm surprised they didn't sell quicker.
Use very hot water and a nylon brush/toothbrush before you use any soaps. It worked on my pair with dirt stains.
This is a pair of Inuit Janoskis I came across and cleaned up a few months back.
I was honestly wondering the same. We're only weeks from release and there's only been a few pairs floating around, while shoes that dont release for months are in the hands of multiple people. Hmmm.
You're going to need a flexible glue for that, super glue will just crack after wear from your ankle pressing against the heel. A small amount of Barge cement should do the trick.
