I wear a 20in, 14kt, 1.5 mm franco. I like it cause I don't think I can rock a huge chain, and it's usually under my shirt anyways. If you want a simple chain I'd recommend this one in the range of 20-24 in length. Goes decent with my watch too

Forgot to add that thin finn has a zipper closure, and grim tim has button closure

I have grim tim, and thinn finn, jeans. I like the grim tim more because it doesn't have the lower pockets, and I don't notice much difference in the skinniness between both cuts. The quality overall is good, but with any denim if you wear them enough they will get crotch blow outs, etc, but...

Has anyone tried the Acne Studios River fit, and how does it compare to the APC Petit New Standard, or slim fit jeans?

I think they're a great fit. Not too slim, but just enough to look skinny. Not sure how they compare to American Slim jeans.

They do make Petit New Standard in stretch. I got mine from Nordstrom.com
