Nah the XV's actually look really small in the box. The box for my Retro VIII's is smaller I think but it's a little more difficult to get theminside of it, then again I'm fairly sure the VIII's would fit in a normal CDP box so having an abnormally larger box seems sort of weird.

Do some have different size boxes? I got a pair of the XV's and the box is about 2 inches longer than the other CDP boxes I've got. I'm going toguess it's due to the VIII's being a bigger shoe.

I was wanting to get the soles completely cleaned up before I thought about using Sea-Glow to get clear.

Question, is it okay to use rubbing alcohol on clear soles like the VI's/XI's to clean them? I could finish cleaning them with water but it would takea lot longer, just want to make sure that rubbing alcohol couldn't damage them in any way.
