This is an old thread, but I just got a pair and noticed this as well. I found that if you press on the "air" on the sole, you can hear and feel a small air leak on the medial side of the air unit where it connects to the arch of the midsole. Clearly a defect, and it seems like this is an issue...

Saw that as well. Size 13 if I recall correctly. Also had some air max zeros in pink women's 11 and Jordan IX low "DAs" in an 11.5 at Colorado Mills behind counter.

I think we're mincing words here, but bottom line is that a ripped box top doesn't guarantee that a shoe is on hash and subject to an additional 20% off during a sale. It also means that ripping a box top off a regularly priced shoe is more often than not a waste of time and destruction of NKE...

That isn't how it works... Shoes go to hash and are coded as hash in the system. An employee ripping the top of a box doesn't mean it's a hash wall shoe.

Just take your own photos, print wallet sized photos with a printer(9-12 to a page), stick em on with tape and you're done. Best thing I ever did for mycollection. I get so much more wear out of my shoes now that I can find them.
