I've recently acquired the LeBron shoe case shown below from a contact at Nike and 1. I know it's real, 2. I don't know anything else about it.
Anyone that has info on this case please share, it must be a LBJ birthday case since the date reads 12/30/1984 and the number next to it 22...

Insurance is always a great choice, I don't get the flaming on this. I guess its relative to the amount of money you make in comparison to the worth ofyour collection.
Not a big fan of the retro cards, but I guess I can see the interest in their "collectability". Definitely down with the concept of investing in thequality of the shoes over little gimmicks like the retro cards or the box on the Raging Bull pack...
Good good advice! Also, research is important when using your own money so that you don't invest in something you end up not liking - while a new releasecatches your eye and you can't cop it. Definitely happened to me a few times.
Might I also suggest buying from NT'ers before you start buying...
