The green/yellow and navy/yellow canvas-pairs are just GREAT. I missed the retros from 2008 so I definitely would be in for a proper retro of these cws! Despite the silver back of the black retros from 2015 I really love my pair!

Don't know exactly what you mean, but if it's the darker part of the midsole just next to the stitching, that has to do with the gum soles itself. The rubber is thinner on the sidepanels of the sole and so it's more transluscent then underneath. What you see is the changeover from the leather...

Huh... could also be very very soft leather. In this case I think I would defintely keep them depending on what they look like on feet. Seems to be the choice between stiff cardboard like leather which has absolutely no creasing out of the box but is very uncomfortable on feet and looks like...

Nope. Not risky at all. Just keep the cloth wet and everything is fine. Yeah, it seems to be similar to the instruction for the air max 1... Don't be afraid, it worked for me since the first pair I did.

Well, the leather really seems to be very nice and creases the way leather has to crease. But compared to my older AF1s from 2001 etc. its not as soft as their leather. Nevertheless I'm really happy with their quality. And referring to the toebox-shape: I was sooo disappointed about the shape...

They are IDs from '15. As I already ordered one pair of IDs last year and they really messed them up twice in a row, I'm so happy that this pair finally arrived and even happier about how it came out.
