  • The Nike Zoom Kobe VII Supreme basketball shoe features a highly durable, cast polyurethane shell upper that provides durability and a performance fit. Mesh placed under the shell adds ventilation and a graphic pattern that tells the predator story. Next-generation Flywire technology offers lightweight support and lockdown. 3-D heel clip made of injected TPU is molded closer to the midfoot to enhance stability and add a lockdown fit. Exposed, glass-reinforced carbon shank plate adds torsional rigidity and midfoot support during quick cuts and jumps. Two interchangeable drop-in midsoles allow you to customize the shoe based on performance needs: Attack Fast insert is made of Phylon with Nike Zoom units in the heel and forefoot delivers a lightweight, responsive ride that's built for speed. Attack Strong insert is made of Cushlon and provides cushioning for optimal comfort during intense, physical play. It is surrounded by an engineered sensory cuff that adds support around the foot...

Pros - lightweight, traction, multiple inserts
Cons - breathability, snug, velcro supportive strap
Traction packed shoe.  It is a very responsive shoe.  Despite it looking like it is a hard, plastic shoe, it is actually very pliable.  It does crease very easily.  The ridges wear pretty easily if someone steps on them while you are playing.  The shoe is "closed" so your feet will get hot and it does not have vents to allow air to flow thru.

The cushioning response system contains two types of inserts.  I personally like the "Attack Fast" inserts.  They are lighter and not as restrictive as the "Attack Strong" version.  This version consists of an ankle straps that are velcro.  They are not very sturdy and the velcro snags the actual material.

Shoes have very good court performance.  The traction allows you to start, stop, and cut quickly.  The shoe moves along with your foot.  Like the other Kobe VII's they are extremely comfortable, but run a bit small.

The outsole is not very tall, which I think allows for the lightweight and cutting ability.  The flywire is not as plyable as on other shoes.
