“The Departed” - best film of the 2000’s

Gladiator.

Most of these ‘best movies’ have zero replay value.

I'll rock with this.

Gladiator is the most iconic movie of the 00's by far imo. Epic blockbuster, classic performances, amazing score, lots of replay value...

I imagine a lot of younger heads might say Dark Knight.

It wouldn't be number 1 for me but it would probably be in my top 10 or 20 from the last ten years.

Not a fan of the ending of The Departed.

Probably not the best, but my favorite movie of the 2000s is Superbad.

It's a copy of Infernal Affairs - which is a much superior movie.

I remember liking The Departed better. Both are good though.

Vera Farmiga and her boobs were appreciated.

I hate waglberg now but him being a douche to matt damon the whole movie was entertaining.

I think The Departed was a million times better.

Give me Training Day, Eastern Promises, or Mystic River over The Departed.

Not the best movie of that decade (007: Casino Royale takes that slot for me), but the Departed is an excellent movie.

No Country for Old Men.
Couching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
The Hurt Locker.
Snatch.
Inception.
Road to Perdition.

It’s definitely up there - and the only one in that list that comes close is Road to Perdition.

i dont even think departed is best scorcese film of the 2000s, i like gangs of new york better.

DDL was awesome and Leo was cool but man did Cameron Diaz suck and she takes me out of the film every time she shows up.
