That would be a strict no buy from me. US hardcourts destroy shoes And I simply cannot be dropping a minimum of 400 bucks on shoes a year

New notice on Nike Plus today had a 12/15 drop date for the Cage 4 and confirmed the 6 month outsole warranty

i pulled the trigger too. And after some crazy bizarre customer service issues, I ended up with 2 pairs of shoes, all of my warranty credit and cash refunded and an additional $40 in credit. All after I spent 2 hours on the phone just trying to do the right thing....

I haven’t worn a lot of Vapors so I probably don’t have the best comparison. I like the inner sleeve as it is similar to the Zoom Zero which is generally my go to shoe. I gambled and went up 1/2 size based on some reviews. They fit fine but ultimately I don’t think sizing up was necessary. The medial drag patch seems to put some pressure on my foot but it hasn’t caused me any pain yet. Foot feels pretty locked in during play and the shoe is light and fast. Outsole is a bit slippery IMO compared to the ZZ. I slipped and fell last night and that hasn’t happened in any of my ZZ. The trade off is that the Vapor slides well when I need it to. Ultimately these play basically like what I remember of the regular Vapor but maybe fit a bit more snugly inside and they look killer. If I was spending my own money and they were full price, I’d never buy them though. Cushioning is no match for ZZ and I don’t see anything else to justify $170.
hope to get my hands on Cage 4 by mid next week and see how those measure up

My one local shop doesn’t carry Nike. Ordered the Cage 4 on NDC this morning with my warranty voucher and should get them by Wednesday. Some early feedback from people sounds like they fit TTS

"Available" is a relative term. Those are pre orders that won't ship until end of the month at the earliest and more likely mid January FWIW. I think athlete styles for Australia are due out Jan 13

the color is described as violet but I swear it looks more blue than purple on my pair.

i don´t know why in the photos looks more blue but in the videos is totally purple like the Tenniswarehouse review
I have them. In person I can see each color. But if they are an homage to Agassi, i guess purple makes sense.
