Are thyou AJ3 vapors still great to play in? Or Vapor 9.5 the better move? I need new shoes to play in

I don’t know if you’ve watched this (funny by the way) video…
I was surprised to see Rublev in what seems to be PE Vapor 9’s just like Dimitrov. I’ve never seen him wearing them. My first thought was he forgot his own VP2 for the shoot and they were in an hurry so Dimi lent him or gifted him one of his custom pairs. Dimitrov wears 11.5 but I couldn’t find Rublev’s size. Or is it an “old school” shoe to match the old school racquet What’s your theory ?

Those are Dimitrov’s pair. He wore it couple time during practice in Monte Carlo and then switched over to an all white/black pair for matches just like AO.

Yep! Mine came this morning. 1-0 in the new AJ3's. Haha. These seem even more comfortable than the OG. I am sure its the same last but it just feels amazing compared to every other shoe. Leather is just so soft!

That was a pretty entertaining video. Always fun/fascinating to see modern pros play with wooden sticks. Grigor's eastern forehand grip can accommodate the flatter shots needed for woodies. I hope they make more of these vids.
Yeah I thought the same! I assume they had time to practice before the video but I was amazed to see how well they could hit the ball, especially Dimitrov. Maybe he would have been number one during this era

I never realized the black cements had XDR rubber. I wish I got a pair. I had the fire reds and they only lasted me a couple of months.

The shoes came in today! My only small complaint would be I wish they came in something other than a standard orange box. Not a big deal, I wont be wearing the box.
Nice pair up with my UNIQLO hat though!

Just remembered Alcaraz was wearing the White Cement 3s in the trophy photo shoot after winning Indian Wells. Would be cool to see him wear these on court even if it’s just a warm up.

I'd be very surprised if he did that. Doesn't seem like the type. Even NK wouldn't warm up in his AJ1's, I think.
